MAY YOU SING A NEW SONG TO THE LORD (Part 1)

My prayer for you today is that you will be able to sing a new song unto the Lord God your Maker, the Holy One of Israel, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I pray that you will sing a new song unto our God, the Bush that is burning but never consumed. Sing unto Jehovah Jireh, your provider, unto Jehovah Nissi, your Banner, sing unto Jehovah Yahweh, the Almighty. I pray you will sing and praise Him for His acts of power. Praise Him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him in His Sanctuary and praise Him in His mighty heavens. God says unto you, “My son, my daughter, my beloved, I desire that you praise Me in this hour, in this time, more than you’ve ever done before and you will see your enemies flee before you.

I heard the Holy Spirit say to me this morning that He desires His children to begin to sing a new song unto Him. He wants you to open your mouth and sing instead of complain, sing instead of moan, sing in the midst of trials, sing when you are feeling low, sing when you are feeling high, sing in spite of what you might be going through, sing, sing, sing. Sing unto the Lord a new song. I pray that the Lord God will give you a new song to sing this year and may His praises never depart from your lips. May the fruits of your lips give Him praise.

Your singing will bring victory and deliverance into your situation. It will bring victory and deliverance to your household; it will bring victory and deliverance to your marriage, your children, and all that concerns you. You will be energised and refreshed by the Spirit of God. The Hosts of heaven will visit you and deliver you. Your praise will attract the Hosts of heaven into your circumstances and all your enemies will be scattered. So, praise Him when things are tough, praise Him when times are good. Praise Him in the morning, praise Him in the daytime, praise Him when the sun goes down.

The Bible says in Psalm 150 vs 6, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” If you have breath, praise the Lord. Why, because praise is a weapon of war. When you sing and praise, your enemies will become confused, demoralised, discouraged and disengaged. Your singing is a weapon against the enemy of your soul, Satan. Satan prefers to hear you complain and moan than to praise and worship. When you fulfill his desire by complaining and moaning, you equip him with weapons of defeat that he would then use to fight against you. When you moan and complain, the enemy becomes attracted to you. It’s like an invitation, a song, the sort of confession he likes to hear. It energises the camp of the enemy. The more you complain, the more he is energised for attack, but when you make the choice to start singing and praising God regardless of your circumstances, the enemy becomes confused and scattered. When you sing to the Holy Spirit, evil spirits will leave (Read 1 Samuel 16:23). May your singing birth uncommon events in your life. As you sing, may your enemies be smitten before you.

“And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten,” (2 Chronicles 20:22 NKV)

God bless you as you walk in obedience today and sing a new song unto the Lord.
